Between Brem-sur-Mer and Apremont, the route alternates between climbs, descents and more rolling sections, with varied viewpoints on the inland countryside. The arrival in the Jaunay Valley, side La Chapelle-Hermier, marks a nice transition towards a more bocage atmosphere.
