I suggest you visit the farm and meet the woolen animals of my breeding, alpacas, sheep and angora goats, and participate in the different techniques for transforming wool into yarn….
You will never see wool the same way again!!
You will leave with your own yarn samples
Today's program :
Study of the Fleece of a Sheep; sorting, properties of wool according to breed….
Ecological wool washing
Different carding techniques; hand carders, mattress carder, ribbon carder
Initiation to finger spinning, spindle spinning, spinning wheel demonstration...
Visit of the workshop and convivial exchanges around a refreshment.
Useful information :
4 people minimum per course, 6 maximum; otherwise the course could be canceled
Possibility to come with family, friends to discover wool…
A deposit of 50% of the amount of the course will validate any reservation
Provide suitable clothes for washing
