The Church is placed under the double vocation of SAINT-PIERRE and SAINT-PAUL. That it is today simply called "Saint-Pierre church" results from the facilities of the oral language or adopted by the inhabitants and their priests.
The building and its architecture have evolved over the centuries. We distinguish the oldest part of the 12th century, recognizable by its slate roof, and the part covered with red tiles which corresponds to the Gothic period.
Burned down by the Protestants during the wars of religion, the church was again prey to flames in 1794. Each time, it was raised by the parishioners. Its current appearance is due to the renovation work carried out between 1998 and 2003.
