This small washhouse is located on the southern part of the Nichoirs trail in Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche, along stage no. 8 of the GR364 which leads to Les Sables d'Olonne.
Along this trail, you can also practice Geocaching (small geolocated treasure hunt) by following the Nichoirs route. There is even a cache somewhere in the washhouse!
The town of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche also has two other wash houses:
• Restored in 2014, the Lavoir de la Guissière is located in rue du Jaunay along the route de Martinet.
• The Lavoir at Plessis aux Moines is visible in the place of the same name a few kilometers northwest of the town and near the Sentier de la Boëre.
