Hike around the Jaunay Lake is a lot of fun thanks to the many trails. Flat paths along the water contrast with steep heights. Busier parts alternate with secret corners, which seem far from the world.
Several hikes take their departure around Jaunay. A tourist map is available free of charge at thePays des Achards Tourist Office or download below.

Each hiker has his own path! Whether you just want to stretch your legs on a Sunday afternoon or head out for the day with your picnic in the bag, here are the trails around the lake:
Between 1 and 5 km
- Botanical Trail (1,5 km)

- Guyonnière Trail (2,9 km)
- Meadow Trail* (4km)
Between 6 and 10 km

More than 10 km

Followers of running, we recommend the “ Tour of the lake along the banks »: 250 m of altitude difference, not counting detours which can increase the difficulty.
Between the Savarière dam and the Pré, this is the most sporty part of the course!
Mountain biking
Several of the hiking trails indicated above can be enjoyed by mountain bike. (*)
To go further, 4 specific mountain bike routes exist in the Jaunay valley. The blue routes (n ° 1 et n ° 2) of 12 and 25 km introduce mountain biking on rolling paths and small roads: ideal for families or novices. As for the red courses (n ° 3 et n ° 4) of 41 and 58 km, they are aimed at more experienced mountain bikers.
