A creative holiday in the heart of the Pays des Achards
Throughout the summer, the Tourist Office offers you a series of original animations to discover the territory differently. After a nature walk ou a farm visit, why not awaken your artistic side with the “Les Estiv'Arts” creative workshops?
(I.e. The Estiv'Arts are part of highlights of the summer season alongside the festival The Jaunay'Stivales, nature activities The Jaunay'Scapades to Producer Visits. Every week, immerse yourself in the world of crafts by participating in creative workshops led by local artists and artisans.
From pottery to bookbinding, from drawing to sewing, these events are designed for young and old, locals and visitors, the curious and the passionate.

From 8th July to 27th August 2025, the Tourist Office invited you to experience a season full of inspiration with the 6th edition of the Estiv'Arts.
In a warm and friendly setting, a dozen artists and craftspeople opened their workshops to you in Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche and Martinet. Painting, sewing, modeling, macramé, floral art, jewelry making, wool processing, pyrography, bookbinding… you tested many techniques and left with your own creation!
These low-cost, small-group workshops offer a true immersion into the world of crafts.
In 2025, 28 workshops were offered:
- Creation of bound notebooks (Japanese binding or single notebook)
- Macrame or dried flower jewelry
- Pyrography and painting on wood
- Clay and cold porcelain modeling
- Sewing: fanny pack, customizing a t-shirt or creating a skirt
- Floral art with a master florist
- Watercolor, drawing, typewriter
- Transformation of wool on a spindle or spinning wheel
- Crochet, suncatcher making, etc.

Our workshops are led by passionate creators from the region such as: JJmagine, Boa Home Création, Cocotalys, Galien, Ô Rêv de Cuir, So'Laine Coud, La Vie est Bell', Luludinette, Poterie La Barbotine, Wool from my garden, Along the lines of my Creativity, Gwenaëlle Vaillant and Natali Huon.
Find them all summer at the Cour des Arts (Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche) or in Martinet for a moment of sharing and expertise.

❓ Do I need any equipment to participate?
No, all the materials are provided by the artists, just come with your good mood!
👶 Can we come with a younger child?
Ages are assigned based on the difficulty of the workshop and the handling of certain tools. Please follow the artist's instructions.
👥 Can I accompany without participating?
As places are limited, only participants can stay during the workshop.
👉 If your child is participating alone, you can leave them there: the instructor will take care of them and they will be in very good hands. You will simply have to come back and pick them up at the end of the activity.
👉 If you don't want to leave him alone, you will need to book your own place and participate in the workshop too. A lovely moment of sharing in perspective!
📲 Do I need to book in advance?
It is not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Places are limited to ensure the quality of the workshop and the welcome of participants in the room. Yes, please contact us directly at the Tourist Office to be placed on the waiting list. Occasionally, cancellations occur.
🎁 Can I offer a creative workshop as a gift?
Yes, upon request, we can issue a gift voucher valid for one or more workshops, but you can also order it online by clicking on 'offer' when you make your reservation.
📍Where does the meeting take place?
All workshops take place at the Arts Court, in the heart of the village of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche, except those of the transformation of wool which take place at Swift.
