VEGETABLE DYEING WORKSHOP

I invite you to discover the tinctorial plants in my garden.
They will give superb colors to the wool….
During this course, you will discover 2 ecological methods for dyeing sheep's wool.
You will leave with your own skeins of wool and explanatory sheets.
You will also have the opportunity to visit my farm and meet my woolen animals, alpacas, sheep and angora goats.

General information on ecological dyeing:
Tinctorial plants: discovery, recognition and picking, preparation of decoctions
Preparations of skeins of wool to be dyed
Vegetable dyeing techniques: preparation of hot and fermentation baths
Visit of the workshop and convivial exchanges around dyeing: documents available

Useful information :
2 days from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. (except July 27, 1 day)
4 people minimum per course, (8 maximum); otherwise the course could be canceled
Opportunity to participate in the course with family, friends to discover the dye…
Provide appropriate clothing for dyeing (mappa-type gloves, note-taking equipment, apron, etc.)
Plan your meal basket for a convivial moment to share, coffee offered
Possibility of camping on site with your tent with a participation of 8€ per person and per night
A deposit of 50% of the amount of the course will validate any reservation
