Zero waste sewing and textile recovery!
My name is Mélanie and the first time I touched a sewing machine was to create a skirt from jeans. After a few basic sewing lessons, I dared to make more and more elaborate accessories.
After several months of leisure sewing, I put in the back of my mind the idea of setting up my own business without really knowing what to sell. And then one day, the idea of recycling textiles came up. I wanted to recycle and enhance textile materials by giving them a second life.
This is how you will see bulk bags made from a curtain and a shirt, empty denim pockets and fabric scraps, furoshiki made from sheets and many other products!
This is how Mel la Bidouille officially became a company in June 2020!
