We are Bénédicte, the little sister, and Pierre-Henri, the big brother. Angora goat breeder and cereal producer (chia, lentils, chickpeas, buckwheat, etc.). Our farm is located in La Maison-Neuve in St Julien-des-Landes, we are 5 minutes from Les Achards and 15 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne.
We are labeled “Organic Agriculture” and our cereals have been grown organically since 2020. From 2025, we will sell all our crops directly from the farm. In addition to direct sales, they will be sold in Biocoop and in surrounding local product stores.
We raise 54 Angora goats for their wool called Mohair. They are sheared twice a year and our mohair is transformed at the “Les Ateliers Joly” spinning mill to become soft socks or sweaters.
In our store located on our farm, you can find hats, berets, gloves, mittens, socks, slippers, scarves, throws and knitting balls.
The store is open every Friday from 14:30 p.m. to 19 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. You can find all our information on our website www.vetement-mohair.com
Today, we are giving new directions to operations to find a balance:
• Organic production
• Development of crops in agroforestry
• Sorting and processing of cereals on the farm (end of 2024)
• Direct sales store for products from our activity (since 2021)
• Raising awareness of agriculture through an educational farm (since 2023)
• Creation of a tea room on the farm (summer 2024)
"We want to make our farm a welcoming living space open to visitors to share our profession".

You can come and meet us on the days the store is open or for a guided tour. With family or in a group, take the time to visit our farm, for 2 hours or for the whole day, come and meet our adorable angora goats, discover the mohair industry and its entire transformation process, understand the profession of a farmer in playful and fun way.
