Halloween and treasure hunts: the orange pumpkin in the spotlight
If we had to choose just one color for this holiday, we would definitely choose pumpkin orange. Halloween activities in Vendée multiply during this period. Even if we don't like to dress up, we can still participate in treasure hunts and eat tons of candy without a guilty conscience.

24 / 10 - "Murder Party" for teens in Martinet - 25 / 10 - "Halloween Village" for children in Martinet: play area, cookie workshop, pumpkin carving, tattoos and makeup, as well as candy hunt with the election of the best costume.

Autumn is a great season to (re)discover our towns in peace and quiet. Did you know that there are 4 digital tours in Pays des Achards?
By downloading the free Adventure Lab® app, you will access the courses « If La Mothe were told to me » to the Achards and « The little path of fires » in Martinet. These 2 circuits highlight the historical and cultural heritage of the municipalities. The application guides you step by step on a route strewn with clues. Observation is the key word to answer the questions correctly.
Since summer 2024, a digital tour allows you to discover the exterior and surroundings of Château Gaillard au Girouard. Simply download the free Legendr® app as well as the course entitled « The fabulous story of the castle without a knight »This short circuit combines cultural mediation, interactive games and quizzes and is aimed primarily at families.
New in : a 2nd course Legendr® has just arrived in the commune of Achards in the La Chapelle district. An immersive adventure lasting 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, entitled « John the Baptist and the Phantom Tomb« which connects real history and play.
Nature and animal activities
If your children are passionate about animals, there are several ideas for enjoying the All Saints' Day holidays:
- Horse riding course or pony ride 🐎 at the Garangeoire Equestrian Center
- Educational farm “The Animal Vegetable Garden” In Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche, the furry and feathered inhabitants await you for free or guided tours, according to your wishes 🐰
- Fruit picking from local producers. All you need is some containers, stock up on apples or pears depending on the time and make a nice pie when you get home, yum! 😋
- Candy of in the forest of Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups : put on your boots and pick chestnuts ????
