Rouge et blanc
Long-distance hiking trail (GR)
475 km long, the GR® 364 starts from Roche Posay in Vienne, passes through Deux-Sèvres and enters the east of Vendée to finish at the edge of the Ocean, in Les Sables d'Olonne. Stage no. 8 of this GR® leaves from Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche to Lac du Jaunay.

Walking

In our department, the new approved route is more touristy. It crosses the Vendée for 252 km, through the diversity of landscapes: its farmland, its forests, its lakes, its rivers, its marshes and finally the coast with its pearl of the Atlantic coast: Les Sables d'Olonne .

The GR® 364 was the subject of a “revitalization” for 2 years, its route in Vendée was completely revised and re-marked. It was divided into 11 stages of 20 to 25 km, all of which have a presentation panel.

Stage no. 8 of this GR® leaves from the town of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche to finish on the banks of Lac du Jaunay, at a place called "Le Pré" in La Chapelle-Hermier.
Accommodation (sleeps 4, 1 place) in the town of Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche allows you to stop off. You can also get supplies thanks to the proximity of the shops.
