Dating from the 15th century and measuring 6,80 m high, the Hosannière cross of Chapelle-Achard is the most important in the canton with its base of 4 granite steps, its liturgical tablet and its round column made of glued rubble.

Formerly located in the old cemetery around the church, it was placed during the 1912 mission, at the corner of rue de la Croix and route de la Boule, near the current cemetery. Hosannier crosses are funerary monuments specific to the west of France, to which the faithful sang hosanna on Palm Sunday.
